From the February 2, 2010 Baton Rouge Business Report:
Poll: Lift military gay ban
Fifty-two percentof people who responded to a Daily Report poll say the "don't ask, don't tell" policy on gays in the military should be lifted. Forty-two percent of people who took the online survey say the policy should remain in place, and 6% were undecided. Nearly 1,400 people participated in the poll. Earlier this week, top-ranking officials, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Admiral Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, testified the ban on allowing gay troops to serve should be lifted.
